VIRGIN PRODUCED CHANNEL LAUNCH INTERACTIVE APP

Virgin Produced partnered with ACTV8.me to create their first ever interactive app

BEVERLY HILLS, CA, February 1, 2013 - Virgin Produced, the entertainment arm of Virgin Group, announced today that it has partnered with ACTV8.me, the leading mobile technology company, to create the company’s first mobile application.

On February 1, 2013, Virgin Produced launches their mobile application to supplement their short form entertainment content platform, the Virgin Produced Channel, which is available in seatbacks aboard Virgin airline flights globally. The app, entitled “Virgin Produced Channel Catch,” will first be introduced on all Virgin America flights via RED™, the airline’s state-of-the-art in flight entertainment system, with a profile on the Virgin Produced Channel. This innovative app will incorporate ACTV8.me’s patent pending “CATCH” technology that allows users to seamlessly receive entertainment content and play for a chance to win a variety of prizes, travel tips, travel information and entertainment based trivia content. The mobile app also offers a free City Guide tailored to the destination city for every flight. The app allows the user to access the city guide and all other features even after landing.

ACTV8.me has created the most robust interactive “second screen” platform in the world. This platform spans across major verticals, including television, retail stores, airlines, airports, and ATM machines. Its objective: the creation of valuable offers at critical moments of influence, stimulating customer interaction and mobile transactions.
