VEVO TAKES OFF WITH VIRGIN

PARTNERSHIP WITH VIRGIN PRODUCED CHANNEL PROVIDES VIEWERS WITH MUSIC VIDEOS AND VEVO ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING ONBOARD VIRGIN AMERICA

NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES, September 11, 2012 VIRGIN PRODUCED and VEVO have partnered to expand VEVO’s platform to 35,000 feet through a new collaboration with Virgin Produced and its channel onboard Virgin America. The partnership provides the Virgin Produced Channel with VEVO music videos and original programming further increasing the entertainment offerings by Virgin America’s Award Winning In-Flight Entertainment system Red™.

Curated by VEVO and Virgin Produced, the programming will consist of a 30 minute block of high definition music experiences including official music videos, VEVO Originals and more. Currently airing are music videos from top artists including Katy Perry, Coldplay, Rihanna, will.i.am, Graffiti6 and David Guetta as well as an episode from the fan favorite VEVO GO Shows series featuring a surprise live concert from Demi Lovato. Each block of programming will feature a unique, music-infused program titled VEVO Sound + City which takes Virgin Produced Channel viewers on a musical tour of one of Virgin America’s destinations. The city of San Francisco will be the first destination city featured on the Channel.

The Virgin Produced Channel launched first onboard Virgin America in April of this year with planned expansion into its own network of channels providing compelling content targeted specifically to the estimated 60+ million brand fans globally on Virgin’s transportation, mobile, health club, hotel and retail assets.

"VEVO’s partnership with Virgin Produced brings our platform to new heights, quite literally," said Doug McVehil, Senior Vice President, Programming, Talent & Content Operations, VEVO. "Here at VEVO, we’re always looking for new ways to connect our viewers to the music they love whether they are at home or on the go. What better way for Virgin America consumers to enjoy their flight than by leaning back and watching their favorite VEVO music programming on the Virgin Produced Channel."

"Music is the foundation of and continues to be a meaningful part of the DNA of our brand," said Jason Felts, CEO, Virgin Produced. "The expansion of our channel programming to include high quality music offerings through a partnership with VEVO will provide our viewers and Virgin America guests with the music content they once were only able to enjoy on the ground. We look forward to including VEVO as we expand our network of channels."
